Job Description

We are looking for an Interim Purchasing Manager with experience of OEM automotive customers and supply chains to join our team on an temporary basis to help deliver a major project by November.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Managing procurement in line with purchasing departmental procedure and objectives, focusing on securing strong commercial terms and excellent quality and delivery service levels from suppliers.

Purchasing activity to ensure all programme milestone requirements are met.

Support in managing supplier performance through production phases ensuring that quality, cost and delivery performance is maintained at high levels

Identifying supplier risk and assist in developing risk mitigation plans where necessary

You will understand and have demonstrable experience in automotive processes and procedures relating to purchasing and also have previously led a small purchasing team.
