Job Description

RML Group are looking for an Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger) to join the Finance team on either a part time (32+ hrs) or full time basis (40hrs).

Working alongside a team of 4 people you will have overall responsibility for multi-currency full cycle purchase ledger including controls, entry, matching, queries. You will build strong relationships with both suppliers and internal teams (purchasing, stores), reporting and resolving queries and contributing to the month end processes.

Essential Requirements:
-Previous experience of full cycle purchase ledger work
-Stock / inventory and GRNI
-Excellent MS Excel skills
-Fast and accurate data entry
-Knowledge of VAT and import duties
-Highly numerate, organised and able to work to deadlines
-Attention to detail
-Strong communication and business partnering skills, able to build strong relationships.

Desirable Requirements:
-AAT full or part qualified
-Accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
-Journal posting
-Foreign currency transactions
-VAT returns
-Bank reconciliations
-Experience with supplier contracts
-Syteline v8
-Management accounts preparation
-Credit control
