Through the use of their Ultramid® products, BASF has supported RML Group in developing an innovative, efficient, immersion-cooled battery for high-performance hybrid vehicles. This sets a new benchmark in terms of performance and safety. Ultramid® B3EG7 is used for the stable battery housing and the battery unit itself. In addition, Ultramid® A3EG6 EQ, as an exceptionally pure material, is used in the individual battery cell holders.
