power
From high-performance powertrains to advanced battery technology, we specialise in cutting-edge propulsion and energy solutions.

about
RML Power’s design, development, and manufacturing capabilities extend across RML’s powertrain facility, which includes a 10,000 sq. ft. manufacturing area for battery systems and bespoke engine builds. This is complemented by in-house cell characterisation, laser welding, and end-of-line testing equipment, all integral to our battery manufacturing process. RML delivers both high-power and high-energy battery systems optimised for each application using our cutting-edge technologies, developed through years of experience and pushing the boundaries in automotive, motorsport, and off-highway industries.
We have designed, developed, and built some of the world’s highest-performing and most efficient BEV, hybrid, and internal combustion powertrains. By applying motorsport culture and design philosophies, we tackle challenges with emerging technologies, providing rapid development for our partners while breaking records and winning awards for innovation.

01
SYSTEMS ENGINEERING
We use a meticulous, innovation-driven engineering approach, following a refined V-model process. From concept to validation, we leverage high-fidelity simulation, 3D modelling, and rigorous testing, all supported by our ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System for continuous improvement.

03
mechanical design
We integrate battery systems, chassis, cooling, and drivetrains through full vehicle design and simulation, optimising performance. Our road-homologated, power-dense battery solutions feature structural integration, advanced cooling, electromagnetic management, and lightweight materials for maximum efficiency and performance.

04
electrical
Our in-house electrical team designs and manufactures wiring harnesses and PCB-based systems from prototype to niche production. Our expertise includes high and low-voltage wiring, full vehicle electrical architecture, electronic systems, bus communication, automated testing, and bespoke PCB design.

07
test and validation
We ensure confidence in our solutions through in-house testing and validation, verifying performance against design intent and simulation models. Our extensive capabilities support development from concept to homologation, including battery testing, powertrain HIL, cell characterisation, and regulatory compliance.
